KOFIH implements healthcare assistance projects in partner countries, and
contributes to promoting international cooperation and humanitarianism.

by meeting the healthcare needs of partner countries and providing essential healthcare support,

We also strengthen community-based healthcare services
to ensure that everyone has access to the medical services they need.

We improve access to emergency medical services and regional referral systems

In collaboration with the Export-Import Bank of Korea, we work on strengthening
the management of advanced medical facilities and specialized medical services in the medium to long term.

Moreover, we strengthen the diagnostic capacity for major infectious diseases,
and establish a foundation for preventing their spread through professional consulting.

We provide healthcare and nursing services
to overseas koreans who share our history,
while striving to ensure
healthy lives for migrant workers in Korea.

In addition, in preparatio for disaster outbreaks,
we support the capacity building and deployment of overseas disaster relief team,
and rebuild healthcare systems to facilitate
cooperation on the Korean Peninsula and for inter- & overseas Koreans

Also, we improve the operational rate and management capacity of medical devices
to support a better environment for healthcare services.

Meanwhile, we commemorate and uphold the legacy of Dr. Lee jong-wook,
the 6th Director-General of the WHO.

Dr LEE Jong-wook Fellowship Program is a global training program for healthcare professionals to strengthen the capacity of health workers in partner countries through systematic and practical training.

Continuing to build a network for performance-based project management system,

we further enhance the network to better respond to global health issues and
seek solidarity with the international community.

Additionally, in collaboration with the WHO, we present Dr LEE Jong-wook Memorial Prize for Public health to continue his legacy.

the Korea Foundation for International healthcare will continue to
cooperate with the public, government, international organizations and civic groups
to better plan and implement global healthcare projects.
