About KOFIHThe Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (President Il-Soo Ha) was selected as a recognized institution, achieving an A+ grade in the ‘2025 Community Contribution Recognition System’ jointly hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare on November 26.
The Community Contribution Recognition System identifies companies and institutions that have formed partnerships with non-profit organizations and consistently carried out community contribution activities, recognizing their achievements.
The program selects certified institutions through an evaluation based on ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) management across three domains, seven categories, and 19 indicators. KOFIH participated in the evaluation for the first time this year and achieved an A+ grade by receiving excellent evaluations in all three domains: Environment (E), Social (S), and Governance (G).
In the Environment (E) category, activities such as creating an energy-saving office environment and operating a low-carbon lifestyle campaign through initiatives like a company-wide walking challenge were recognized as outstanding achievements. In the Social (S) category, KOFIH received high marks for establishing collaborative networks involving diverse members to carry out various social contribution activities. Furthermore, in Governance (G) performance, it was recognized for establishing an exemplary transparent management system through enhanced disclosure and accountability in financial and operational management.
Building on this recognition, the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare will continue to maintain a transparent and exemplary management system, striving for mutual growth and development with the local community.
