Dr. LEE Jong-wook Fellowship Program is a training program designed to invite the global healthcare workforce from partner countries in order to build their competence.
Dr. LEE Jong-wook Fellowship Program was launched in 2007 and has seen a total of 1,339 healthcare practitioners from 30 countries participate as of 2022. It aids in allowing the practitioners to learn about the healthcare technology and system of Korea while contributing in the improvement of global healthcare services and building the healthcare systems..

Invitational training in 2024: 8 training courses for 214 people from 14 countriesTraining course: Clinical course, health personnel training expert course, health policy course, infectious disease response expert course, medical engineering course, degree course, and top-level courseTraining targets: Medical staff such as doctors and nurses, medical educators, health policymakers, medical technicians, infectious disease response experts, public officials, etc.Selection plan: Recommendation by the Ministry of Health of the recipient country and selection by KOFIHTraining institution: Foundations, Korean medical institutions, etc.
On-site application and follow-up: Local training, on-site instructions, support for alumni activities, etc.
