About KOFIHThe Korea Foundation for International Healthcare operated a promotional booth at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul from November 3 to 6 on the occasion of the 2025 Development Cooperation Week, which is held to promote ‘Development Cooperation Day’ on November 25. KOFIH opened a booth to promote its projects and activities to the citizen.

The ‘Development Cooperation Week’ is an annual event held in November to commemorate November 25, the date South Korea joined the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) in 2009. Various public institutions, international organizations, civil society groups, and companies participate to raise public awareness about Official Development Assistance (ODA) and share the importance of international development cooperation.
At this event, the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare ran a booth in the promotional zone, introducing its major projects and global health activities to citizens. Specifically, it provided an opportunity to engage directly with the public through KOFIH brochure highlighting the foundation's flagship projects, including health capacity-building projects in partner countries, infectious disease response support, Dr LEE Jong-wook Fellowship Program, and health support program for overseas Koreans.

Additionally, KOFIH introduced its SNS channels (YouTube, Instagram, blog, etc.) to on-site visitors, guiding them to continuously follow and support its activities. Citizens had the opportunity to hear firsthand about healthcare cooperation cases and project outcomes in various partner countries, sharing a common understanding of the meaning and value of ODA.
The Korea Foundation for International Healthcare plans to continue its ODA projects to build a healthier world for all, communicating with the public as a specialized agency for global health cooperation.
