About KOFIHThe Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (President Il-Soo Ha, hereinafter referred to as KOFIH) conducted a joint flood recovery volunteer activity on August 12 (Tuesday) with institutions housed in the Health and Welfare Administrative Town to support the swift recovery of Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province, which suffered severe damage from heavy rains in mid-July.
Including President Ha and 10 other KOFIH employees, this volunteer activity involved a total of 46 staff members from the institutions located in the town (i.e., Korea National Institute for Bioethics Policy, Korea Health Promotion Institute, National Evidence based Healthcare Collaborating Agency, and Korea Social Security Information Service). They worked together to remove mud and debris from flooded houses and provide other recovery support.
Meanwhile, KOFIH plans to jointly promote the “3rd Love Blood Donation Campaign in 2025” with the institutions in the Health and Welfare Administrative Town on August 29. Going forward, KOFIH plans to actively carry out social contribution activities by forming more active cooperative relationships not only with the institutions in the town but also with local institutions and organizations in the district where it is located in order to continue contributing to the development of the local community.
