KOFIH conducted a fieldwork program for five students from June 30 to July 6, 2025 through a training agreement with Ewha Womans University College of Nursing.

The program provided job experience across KOFIH's core projects, ranging from healthcare ODA strategy, identification and development, and project evaluation to projects for foreign workers, overseas emergency relief, overseas Koreans, North Korean healthcare support, and Dr LEE Jong-wook Fellowship Program. In particular, the students strengthened their practical skills through a systematic program that combines lectures and practical exercises, and enhanced their career exploration and understanding of professional fields through networking with senior nurses at KOFIH.

"It was a valuable time to experience first-hand the work that is difficult to experience in a normal university curriculum," said one of the students.

The Korea Foundation for International Healthcare will continue to actively contribute to fostering healthcare professionals in the field of international development cooperation based on continued cooperation with universities and other organizations.
