About KOFIHOn Friday, May 16, KOFIH hosted 33 students from Korea University's School of Health Policy and Management for an institutional visit program to enhance their understanding of the global health.
The visit lasted for about two hours at the Dr. LEE Jong-wook Hall on the 7th floor of KOFIH, starting with an introduction to Dr. Lee and an explanation of KOFIH's major international development cooperation projects, followed by staff members sharing their experiences based on their overseas assignments and work experience. Afterwards, there was a Q&A session.
In particular, after sharing KOFIH's various projects and experiences in the ODA field, the Q&A session was followed by lively questions about global health, development cooperation, and careers as practitioners, and in-depth conversations were held with high interest and enthusiasm from the students.
The program was a beneficial opportunity for the students, who will grow into future global health talents, to experience the real world of ODA work firsthand, and KOFIH also confirmed the importance of fostering the next generation of global health talents.
The Korea Foundation for International Healthcare will continue to engage in exchanges and communication with those interested in international development cooperation.
