△ Signing Ceremony of MOU to Strengthen National Cancer Management Capacity in Uganda (Feb. 28, 2025)

□ The Korea Foundation for International Healthcare signed an MOU with the Ministry of Health of Uganda, the National Cancer Center (Dr. Han-Kwang Yang, President), and the Uganda Cancer Institute (Dr. Jackson Orem, Executive Director) on February 28 (Fri) to strengthen the national cancer management capacity in Uganda.

□ Through this agreement, the four organizations will cooperate △ to support education and training of healthcare personnel in the field of cancer, △ strengthen basic and clinical research on cancer, and △ support national cancer management projects.

□ “We met with the Deputy Minister of Health to discuss cooperation in the healthcare sector between the two countries, and through this MOU and the National Cancer Management and Capacity Building Project being conducted by KOFIH, we will help strengthen the cancer management system in Uganda,” said KOFIH President Il-Soo Ha.
