□ The Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH) co-hosted the ‘Korea-Ghana Joint Partnership Conference on Biomedical Engineering’ on July10 2024 at the Alisa Hotel in Ghana. The event was co-hosted with the Ministry of Health of Ghana and was organized in collaboration with the EDCF Ghana Office and Yonsei University.

□ The event was attended by Ambassador Park Kyongsig of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ghana, key officials from the Ministry of Health of Ghana, faculty members from Yonsei University, and officials from EDCF Ghana Office.

□ The participants at the event shared experiences in biomedical equipment management systems between Korea and Ghana and discussed ways to improve the management system in Ghana based on these experiences. They also discussed in-depth various measures to improve the health system in Ghana and examined the feasibility of local application. KOFIH plans to continue its cooperation with Ghana in the future and strive to develop the healthcare sector between the two countries.
