□ On July 29 2024, the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH) held a vehicle donation ceremony for the Ghana National Health Insurance Service as part of its project to strengthen the Ghana Health Insurance System to achieve universal health coverage in Africa.

□ The donation is aimed at strengthening the capacity of the government of Ghana to manage its health insurance system and thereby contribute to the achievement of universal health coverage (UHC) in the country. The project also aims to spread the capacity of the health insurance system not only in Ghana but also in neighboring African countries, and to lead the way in achieving universal health coverage on the African continent. KOFIH expects this donation to make an important contribution to strengthening the capacity of Ghana's healthcare stakeholders and improving policy formulation.
