□ On 5 August, KOFIH President Il-Soo Ha visited Ethiopia to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the Medical Devices Refurbishment and Reengineering Center, which is part of the 'Project to strengthen medical equipment management governance in Ethiopia’.

 ○ He said that the center will play an important role in improving Ethiopia's health system by enabling optimized medical device management.

 ○ Ambassador Jung Kang, Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Ethiopia, said that the Medical Devices Refurbishment and Reengineering Center will serve as a key player in providing quality health services and will also benefit Ethiopia's neighboring countries.

 ○ In response, the Ethiopian Minister of Health said that the project reaffirms the great bond between Ethiopia, the Republic of Korea, and KOFIH, and expressed her gratitude for the continued cooperation.
