
At the 「Development Assistance Committee, DAC」 held at The-K Hotel in Seoul at 14:00 on Thursday, November 25, awards were presented to Korean and foreign men of merit who made significant contributions to international development cooperation.
The ‘International Development Cooperation Merit’ award given by the government was established this year to discover and encourage men of merit who have contributed to improving the quality of life of recipient countries and enhancing Korea’s prestige through official development assistance (ODA) activities.
On this day, the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (President Kim Chang-yup) was honored with the Prime Minister''s Commendation. In addition, a total of 20 individuals and organizations received awards, including 12 Koreans/organizations and 8 foreigners/organizations.
