The Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (President Choo MooJin) and National Medical Center (President Chung Gi-hyun) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on August 6 (Thu.) at a conference room in NMC to seek mutual cooperation for international healthcare education and training.
Through this MOU, the two organizations agreed to cooperate on ▲joint development and operation of programs designed to stregnthen global healthcare capacity of experts from partner countries, ▲building a global healthcare training center, and ▲emergency disaster relief programs, and etc.
At a time when Korea’s infectious disease prevention and control effort has received global attention amid the recent COVID-19, this MOU was concluded for the two parties to jointly develop and operate training courses on controlling infectious diseases for healthcare workers in partner countries. Also, it is expected to contribute to building a global healthcare training center, in which healthcare workers from partner countries can learn important know-hows of Korea’s healthcare projects.
