The Arirang Nursing Home located in Uzbekistan was established based on the cooperation between the governments of Korea and Uzbekistan to build a nest for the 1^st generation of Koreans deported (born before 1937) and elderly Koreans living alone in Uzbekistan. Arirang Nursing Home, which opened on March 26, 2010, marked its 9^th anniversary on March 26, 2019. The event was attended by many guests including 38 residents in the care home, elderly Koreans in the region and those from relevant local organizations to exchange words of celebration and appreciation.
