Candidatures for the 16th Dr LEE Jong-wook Memorial Prize for Public Health (2023)

One of the WHO(World Health Organization) prizes and awards administered by the Director-General, Dr LEE Jong-wook Memorial Prize for Public Health is founded by the Government of the Republic of Korea through the KOFIH(Korea Foundation for International Healthcare). Nominations for candidates of this prize in 2023 are in progress and it will be awarded at the 76th World Health Assembly. Each national health administration of WHO Member States may nominate only one candidate, through email to foundationprizes@who.int. Full candidatures must include an official stamped letter from the national health authority submitting the candidature. Spontaneous candidatures or candidatures which are not supported by a national health authority cannot be accepted. Dr LEE Jong-wook Memorial Prize for Public Health, consisting of a sum of money (which will not exceed US$ 100,000), together with a plaque from the Founder, will be awarded for outstanding contributions to public health.
